Start: Hillside Park
Sign In: 5:45 p.m. (everyone must sign a waiver in order to participate)
Ride Begins: 6:00 p.m.
Route Distance: Group decision at start of event
Come take a slow community ride through the streets and bike paths of Newark. Helmets are required by law for those under 16, but we highly recommend that everyone wear a bike helmet, regardless of your age or ability.
- Ride leaves at 6:00 p.m. Arrive by 5:45 p.m. for sign-in.
- All participants, whether BikeNewark members or their guests, must sign a liability waiver before the ride.
- Learn the tricks of navigating safely through Newark and its beautiful surroundings.
2025 First Friday Rides are scheduled for March 7, April 4, May 2, June 6, July 4, August 1, September 5, October 3, and November 7 (weather permitting).
