Every now and then, BikeNewark organizes a ride for the community other than the First Friday Rides. These community rides are meant to be fun and to give relatively new residents and visitors to Newark a bike’s-eye view of the city.

Our next Community Ride is scheduled for Sunday, November 9. We’ll meet at 2:00 p.m. at the Newark Bike Project, which is in the Newark Shopping Center. The ride will be approximately five miles in length, give or take a mile. Much like the First Friday events, this will be a slow group ride.
Please be there on time, so you can sign in as a participant and hear whatever instructions the ride leader will have. Note: We strongly recommend that everyone wear a helmet; those riders 17 years of age or younger must wear a helmet (it’s the law in Delaware).
